12 Christmas Songs That You Are Probably Not Sick Of

  1. Holiday by Body Language: Did I just see puppets having sex (again)? Whatever; that was adorable.
  2. Good Morning, Blues by Count Basie: Fantastic vocal.
  3. Donde Esta Santa Claus by Guster: “On Pasty! On Pesky!”
  4. Donna and Blitzen by Badly Drawn Boy: Evidently I just like it when someone changes up reindeer names.
  5. Merry Christmas from the Family by Robert Earl Keen: Wow, that reference to a last-minute run to Stop & Go for celery and a can of fake snow came right out my childhood.
  6.  Oi to the World by the Vandals: “Where’s the Oi I gave to the world?”
  7. Get Down for the Holidays by Jenny O: So simple and lovely.
  8. Jingle Bells (Cha-Cha) by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy: They worked a flute solo in there, those ballers.
  9. Christmas with You Is the Best by the Long Winters: Make your own damn holiday.
  10. Winter Wonderland (Future Loop Foundation Remix) by Vic Damone & Future Loop: It’s always nice when someone takes a song that unlistenably cliched and mixes it up.
  11. Christmas on TV or Last Month of the Year by Chris Isaak: Last Month of the Year is such a delightful swing of a song that I can overlook the misstatement about Jesus’s month of birth.
  12. Shouldn’t Have Given Him a Gun for Christmas by Wall of Voodoo: Best. Xmas. Song. Ever.
